Hall council puts on events ranging from movie nights to formal and wheelchair basketball. Our Exec Board, Committee Chairs, and Commissioners work hard year round to make Ryan Hall the best home it can be.

Our major events for the year are our Ryan Hall Signature Events, Formal, and Parents Weekend, with year long initiative like our Big/Little and Athletic programs.

Formal
Formal is, as it sounds, a formal dance hosted in various locations around campus once a year. Formal is a great night to get gussied up and dance with all your favorite Cats.
Our wildcats danced the night away at formal!
Ryan Roar
Ryan Roar is our second dance of the year usually held in the Spring. Unlike formal, Roar is themed with a changing theme every year. Theme ideas will be collected and the winner will be voted on at Hall Council in the spring so start thinking of your best ideas!
Parents Weekend – Cats & Cubs / Pops & Paws
Every year Ryan Hall welcomes the amazing people in our lives that have helped us get where we are today. Cats & Cubs welcomes the wonderful women in our lives and Pops & Paws the marvelous men. These weekends take place in the fall during alternating years.
Our amazing committee is planning great events for the weekend and are happy to hear suggestions and answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Big / Little Program
Our Big/Little program helps welcome our newest Wildcats into the family. Each incoming Cat is paired with an upperclassmen that can serve as their contact person and guide for their adjustment to Ryan and Notre Dame as a whole.
Our Bigs and Littles jointly participate in crafts, breakfasts, movie watches, meals and any number of activities set up themselves throughout the year.
Bigs and Littles will be matched up early in the fall following multiple get to know you events in order to help match pairs well. The getting to know you events culminate in a big matching reveal as seen in the pictures above.
Our bigs can’t wait to meet their new littles!
Ryan Hall Athletics
Ryan Hall sponsors intramural teams for a variety of sports throughout the year ranging from A and B Flag Football Teams with practices and weekly games to one time Bowling or Table Tennis competitions. Ryan teams are a great way to get to know other ‘Cats, share Ryan spirit, and enjoy the fun of sports.
Our Athletic Commissioners will post sign ups in the lobby for all teams shortly before their respective seasons start.
Apparel
Hall Council with our Internal Commission and Apparel Committee creates and sells a variety of different Ryan Hall apparel items throughout the year including: Sweatshirts, Spirit Jerseys, Sweatpants, Tanks, T-shirts, Shorts, and more!
